Fleet Feet Pleasanton Ambassador Team
The Fleet Feet Ambassador Team supports the growth and well-being of our local running community. We are a diverse group of active lifestyle individuals who volunteer at Fleet Feet events and training programs, sharing our passion for running to inspire others. We represent Fleet Feet core values by our words and actions. Ambassadors serve a six-month term, although the term can be extended by mutual agreement. This Ambassador Team application is for membership for the term starting January 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023. The application process will close on Friday, December 16th, 2022. There are 30 spots available!

Ambassador Team Qualifications
- Enthusiastic and supportive of runners and walkers at all levels
- Passion for supporting the local running and racing community
- Can respectfully and responsibly represent the Fleet Feet brand and core values in and out of the store
- Runners and walkers over the age of 16 are welcome to apply. We believe passion is just as important as pace!

- You will receive a high quality running shirt, plus a quarter-zip, designed exclusively for the Fleet Feet Ambassador Team
- 20% discount on all merchandise at the Fleet Feet Pleasanton store excluding electronics (10% discount applies)
- Waived entry fees for any event hosted by Fleet Feet Pleasanton
- Discount coupons for local race registration fees (as available)
- Participation in a special rewards program for referring customers to the store
- Early access to limited edition products not yet available to the general public
Ambassador Activities and Requirements
- Volunteer to help out at events hosted by Fleet Feet Pleasanton, or help with other Fleet Feet programs for a minimum of ten (10) total hours during your term. The volunteer help hours must take place at a minimum of two different events.
- Wear your Fleet Feet gear to all events you attend during your term
- Promote Fleet Feet events via your broader community contacts or social media networks
- Refer athletes to the expert outfitters at our Pleasanton store for all of their shoe and running gear needs
- Create a sense of belonging for all members of the local running community; promote diversity and inclusion to support and expand participation
- Attend the new Ambassador orientation and training meeting
- Adhere to guidelines set forth in the Ambassador Orientation manual
- Participate in the private Fleet Feet Pleasanton Ambassador WhatsApp group chat, to share ideas and coordinate activities
