
After taking a long break from running, I decided to jump back in with a big goal — running the New York City Marathon in 2024. Most of my training for that race was done solo, aside from a once- or twice-weekly run with a small group I had joined. One day, while browsing online for something completely unrelated, I stumbled across the Fleet Feet Nashville training program — and the rest, as they say, is history!
I quickly fell in love with the group long runs and the amazing community that surrounds Fleet Feet. What started as one marathon turned into a passion — I ended up signing up for five marathons in 2025! Nearly all of my training since then has been with the incredible Fleet Feet Nashville training crew.

I can’t say enough about our amazing Coach Brooke, who puts together creative routes every week, and about Teri, Bailey Jo, and the whole team who organize fun events, shoe demos, and so much more. Thanks to them, I not only trained successfully for multiple marathons, but also found the perfect shoes and gear that helped me get to every starting line feeling ready.

But honestly, the best part of this program isn’t just seeing my own progress — it’s watching the people I run with every week achieve their goals. The energy, encouragement, and inspiration from this community are unmatched. I’m truly motivated by this group at every level and around every turn.
