Join our new 8 week walking group.
During our time together, we will discuss the mental and physical benefits of walking and will learn about the best clothing, shoes and gear you need to stay comfortable no matter the temperature or distance. We'll also discuss hydration and preparing for a race - yes, you can walk a race!
Each week, we will begin at 9am with a short meet & greet with the coaches and education session from topical experts. At 9:30 we'll head out for our walk; plan for a minimum of 30 minutes and up to one hour depending on your goals.
Registration is just $9.95 and includes a free training shirt and other goodies along the way!

Why Walk? Walking is a low impact exercise and can accomplish the same fitness and weight loss goals as running. It is possible to improve your health by lowering blood pressure and cholesterol, relieve depression, and increase your energy level
Why Walk with Fleet Feet? Fleet Feet has 20+ years of experience training runners and walkers to meet their goals by finishing half marathons, full marathons, and other race distances. Leaders include experienced and trained mentors, certified coaches, and expert apparel and shoe fitters

What if I Can’t Walk for 30 Minutes Yet? That is not a problem. Our routes will allow you to turn around and return to the starting point to achieve what you are able to do and then increase your distance as you are able in the following weeks
Do I Have to Register to Participate? Registration is necessary in order to give us contact information for you, your emergency contact information, and to sign a waiver
Who? Anyone who wants to walk, age 18+ is welcome. While we all love our furry friends, this group will focus on walking without our pets
When? Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. from May 9 – June 27, 2024
