Please join us for Community Run Day on 10/10/2020
We're here for the Long Run!
Although The Middle Half will not be occur this year due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we encourage our community to get out and run or walk on 10•10•2020, our scheduled race date.
To commemorate what would have been the 14th annual Middle Half we are offering souvenir shirts that will include names of all those purchasing a shirt. You will have the option for a long sleeve Brooks brand technical running shirt as well as a short sleeve Bella-Canvas soft cotton blend shirt. Save shipping costs and pick up your shirt from Fleet Feet Sports in Murfreesboro.
$5 from each shirt sale will be donated to our charity partners who normally receive funding from the event. In the past, we've donated over $500k to local organizations. You will also have the option to make an additional donation during the sign-up process.

After many hours of discussion and weighing all our options, the Board of the Murfreesboro Half Marathon (Middle Half) has made the agonizing decision to cancel this year’s event.
With the current chaos going on in our world along with the uncertainties in the months to come, it would be an impossible task to properly plan and provide a fun and safe event in October.
We have no idea what the guidelines for large events will be in October or even if we would be allowed to go forth with an event. Rather than opening registration and hoping for the best, we feel it is better to make this decision now so we all can plan accordingly.
We realize this decision is very disappointing for many of you and our board members share in that disappointment. This is our 14th year! Traditionally, we donate around $40,000.00 per year to various groups and organizations. Not having our race this year will be difficult for our runners, sponsors and many others.
One of our goals when we started in 2007 was to support and promote the sport of running ... and we plan to continue with this goal for many years to come!
