James Contratto

Although James is originally from Florida he has lived in a several places including Illinois, North Carolina, and Alabama. He landed in Charleston for a job as a part of his 20 year career in Higher Education working in Student Activities and Student Unions.

When not working you can find James running, cooking, grilling, playing trivia, hanging out at the beach, and being active outdoors. A passionate runner who enjoys running the local races and with local run clubs James is training for his first 50 miler. He hopes to qualify for the Boston Marathon one day.

When asked what he finds special about Fleet Feet he replied, "the friendly staff and co-workers who make it feel like a team. I love getting to know our customers, learning about their goals, and how we can help provide them the tools & resources to achieve them."

James, his wife Leigh and their dog Cooper share many adventures together!
