Running changes everything, and we want you to join the MOVEMENT! Fleet Feet Monterey is excited to invite you to our new monthly Community Run & Walk event, a free group walk or run on the first Saturday of the month that is open to every pace, every level, every everybody, and every body and designed to connect us to awesome people and causes in our community!

Each month, we'll host a different community partner and cause for you to connect with, along with other fun features such as gear demos, clinics and workshops, breakfasts, and games - all designed to create an intentional and inclusive community, rooted in our local community, of people like you who are passionate about how running, walking, and moving together can change everything!

Saturday, November 18, 8am - Community Walk and Run with The Autoimmune Athlete, Joshua Bradley, featuring the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation NorCal Branch - We’ll head out from the store to the breathtaking Monterey Bay Recreation Trail for a 3- or 5-mile run or walk along the coastline. This running and walking event will be a noncompetitive community run to raise money for treatment and research by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and to increase awareness about and solidity in the movement to increase access to treatment and changes in our culture and world to decrease the environmental causes of autoimmune diseases. We will have refreshments and a raffle prize to top off the celebration of moving together towards a cure! This event is free or donation-based, with all proceeds going to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. Friday, November 17th, 6:30 - 8:00 pm - We are proud to feature author of the acclaimed Crohn’s Disease AIP Cookbook, local runner and Fleet Feet mentor and ambassador, owner of Switch Bakery, and Autoimmune Athlete and activist Joshua Bradley for an Evening with the Autoimmune Athlete and book-signing event, where we will hear Joshua’s compelling story and discover the radical permission we can give ourselves to fiercely pursue living, working, and running a whole life with an autoimmune disorder.
