PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Are you taking on the challenge of the beautiful Big Sur 11-Mile Race or training for a spring half marathon? Fleet Feet Monterey can get you ready for whatever your goals are, whether you are wanting to do your first, fastest, or most fun race! Our professional coaches and volunteer mentors provide attentive training, drawing from an eclectic toolkit of mental health, community building, and run science, to meet you where you are while cultivating a strong, inclusive, and welcoming community of runners to support your most empowered, fiercest, and most joyful running. All people and all paces are wanted and celebrated here! We recommend you be comfortable running or using run/walk for at least 3-4 miles at a time before beginning this training program.
TRAINING DESCRIPTION
What you'll get:
- 2 group training runs per week (Wednesdays at 6pm at either Monterey Peninsula College's track or Fleet Feet and Saturdays at 8am at Fleet Feet Monterey)
- A weekly training plan with suggested workouts and runs to do each day on your own
- Exclusive access to events such as shoe demos, clinics, and parties
- 10% discount on items in the store through the duration of the program
