High School Athletes!
Build Your Summer Base for XC Season!
Tuesday, July 21 & Wednesday, July 22; 9am to 12pm; Brookdale Park
For two mornings this summer, high school cross country athletes will come together to focus on all things running. In a relaxed, non-competitive, fun and challenging environment runners have the chance to improve skills while becoming familiar with the Essex County XC course. Under the guidance of New Balance and local experts, runners will learn important information on strength training, injury prevention, and transitioning to college running. We'll explore best practices for managing nutrition amidst a student runner's typical school routine, practice and race day.
If you are brand new to XC or looking to better your performance the camp is a perfect way to build on the fundamentals, meet teammates and coaches from your local community and become a better, smarter and faster athlete.
