Often the first step is the hardest. The camaraderie of training with a group and experience of coaches and mentors week after week is an amazing motivator to get you to your goal. When the training gets more rigorous, you'll have the collective strength of the group to keep you moving forward. When you crush a key workout, the group will be there to celebrate your achievement. And on those early mornings when you just don't feel like getting out of bed, the training group will keep you accountable.

This program is designed for those individuals who are looking to build a fitness oriented lifestyle. It's not about pace or speed or who's first or last; it's about effort, making a lifestyle change and continuing to move forward.

• Saturdays, 7:30am; first session October 7th, at Fleet Feet Montclair
• Wednesdays, 6:30pm; first session October 11th, location Verona Park

GOAL EVENT

• Mt St. Dominic Reindeer Run 5k, Caldwell
