8K 2nd Step No Boundaries Training Program - Fall 2020
Take the next step in your training. Learn to run or run/walk farther and faster as you master the 5 mile distance. This 8-week program is designed for someone new to the 8k (4.97 miles) distance and/or looking for a little more intensity. Training will start at 2 miles and build up to the 5 mile distance. The 10K Beyond Boundaries Training Program moves runners and walkers further along towards their fitness and running goals. We keep learning fresh with new training ideas, and a variety of informational and technical clinics are provided by the area's leading experts. The workouts last an hour to an hour and a half as we increase mileage throughout the season. As always we provide experienced and trained coaches & mentors to help inspire and motivate you on this training journey. Our Kick Off Informational Meeting is in late January 2020 and training begins February 8, 2020. LEARN MORE!
Want to challenge yourself beyond the 10K distance? We are offering a progression package which will extend three weeks past our 10K training program, including 5 additional training sessions and a guided training plan to the 15K distance. Your coaches & mentors will get you inspired and race ready for the Clinton Country 15K. Training picks up after the 10K goal race, starting on Tuesday, April 7th through April 21st. LEARN MORE!
