THE ROAD TO NYC PANEL

A Deep Dive on all things NYC Marathon

Tuesday, September 22 | 7 PM | Fleet Feet Montclair

There are the things you can find in a race guide, and then there are the things you only learn from people who know NYC. We’re getting into the nitty-gritty of the TCS New York City Marathon with a panel that knows the race from just about every angle.

MEET THE PANEL

Steve Mura
Director, Runner Training and Education

Steve brings an insider’s perspective on TCS New York City Marathon training, race-day logistics and course strategy. He’s coached runners for more than a decade and spent years pacing participants through all five boroughs and 26.2 miles of NYC.

Robbin Jordan
15x NYC Marathon Finisher + Training Program Mentor

Robbin knows her way around 26.2. She’s finished NYC 15 times and 78 marathons overall, completed all 8 Abbott World Marathon Majors, and raced across 7 continents and all 50 states. She brings a whole lot of miles — and race-day wisdom — to the conversation.

Jessica Barton
NYC Marathon Finisher + Bloomfield Teacher

After a seven-year hiatus from NYC, Jess returned to the Marathon in 2025 and found her way back to the running she loves. A longtime Fleet Feet mentor and coach, she brings a perspective rooted in finding joy in the process, supporting other runners and making your way back to 26.2.

Ed Brittingham
New Balance Trackster + NYC Marathon Finisher

With years of experience in run specialty, Ed is our panel gear expert and a New Balance Trackster. He’s completed five marathons, including NYC, and brings a gear-focused perspective on everything from choosing the right shoes to what you actually need on race day.
