Led by Karen Ponzoni, CPT, RYT200, RYTYIN and Yoga for Athletes instructor, this 60-minute recovery stretch class targets the connective tissue around the joints. Proper stretching leaves a longer lasting affect on range of motion. We all could use less soreness, increased muscle length, mobility and flexibility after workouts. Deep stretching also helps rebuild muscle fibers and improve circulation, which contributes to muscle recovery.
As an athlete, yoga instructor and personal trainer, Karen is bringing all her tools to teach us some finer points of engaging and restorative recovery practices.
Exercise mat is required for the class, along with a towel if you like extra padding. A stretch strap is recommended.
