Party with the pack or run serious - this event is for everyone! The inaugural Mardi Gras 5k takes place on Joe Cain Day in 2027 and will follow one of the parade routes through downtown Mobile. The race features a prediction category, costume contests, team bead toss, and the best after party Mobile has to offer!

Prediction Run Details
Predict your finish time when you register - whoever gets closest to their predicted time wins the prediction category! The chip time will be recorded as the official finish time. The use of watches or timing devices is not permitted in the prediction category. Racers wearing watches are eligible for all other awards.

Team Bead Toss
Pairs of participants toss beads back and forth, stepping further apart each time a toss is successfully completed. Teams are eliminated when they drop the beads. Last team standing wins a FREE pair of shoes!
