What can you expect:
Need some extra accountability and motivation to keep moving during these cold winter months? Winter Warriors is for you!
Winter Warriors is an 8-week, 5K or 10K mileage maintenance, and base-building program. Beginner and Intermediate levels are welcome. We will keep you on track during the chilly dark mornings and evenings; whether your goal is simply to get moving or to train for a 2026 specific race.
For this program, you will receive an 8-week training plan and will be able to participate in two in-person, coach-led runs each week (Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm and Saturday mornings at 8 am).
We will be leading you with a new platform, Final Surge, that will also enable you to see the workouts and do the workouts from home or vacation, making the curriculum that much more flexible. You will also gain access to a weekly strength training and mobility class within the app that will ensure joint and connective tissue health and prevent any injuries.
You also get access to weekly coaching sessions with Audrey Neiswender, to personally guide your cold season experience. Weekly email newsletter will cover the gammit of ways to hone your form, your strength, your breathwork, and your nutrition, your pace, your efficiency, and most importantly your mindset, both during your workouts but also in your racing strategy. You also will have the opportunity to join a twice monthly group zoom call where we all come together for 45 minutes to touch base and ask questions and get feedback from other participants and coaches.
Additional add-ons available: $78 gets you 24/7 access to CFX in Mishawaka, which will be our default meetup in light of inclement weather or conditions, in place of cancelling practice. It will also get you access to the strength training and mobility class in-person, led by Audrey Neiswender on Thursdays at 630PM
Tuesday nights will be a shorter run and Saturday mornings will be a longer group run at varying locations off-site.
