Michiana Running Festival

Michiana Running Festival is celebrating its 3rd year July 29th, 2023!  We will once again celebrate running within the Michiana Community by highlighting shoe vendors, local races, and local community partners.

What can you expect from the shoe vendors:
We will have a number of shoe vendors that will each have shoes for you to demo.  You can try them on, take them for a run around the park, or even try them out at the Blue Jean Mile fun run (more on that below).  Learn a bit more about your favorite shoe brands and geek out on shoe tech with the Reps.  Each shoe vendor that you interact with or try on shoes with will provide you with a raffle ticket that you can then drop into one of the many raffle boxes on the main stage (more on that below as well!)

What can you expect from the local races:
We will have a number of local races that you can register for, some will even offer a discount if you register on the day of Michiana Running Festival.  Each race that you interact with or register for will provide you with a raffle ticket that you can then drop into one of the many raffle boxes on the main stage (more on that below).

 BLUE JEAN MILE
This year was asics fourth year of organizing their Blue Jean Mile to help bring awareness to the importance of Mental Health.  In 2020, ASICS elite athlete Johnny Gregorek set out in his favorite pair of blue jeans and set the World Record for the fastest mile ran while wearing blue jeans, all in an effort to raise awareness for Mental Health.  Participation is FREE.
