Run from the Norm is more than a brand—it’s a movement for the misfits, mountain lovers, and finish-line rebels.
Over the past year, founder Jayk Reynolds has been sitting down with local runners to explore the stories behind the miles—the challenges they’ve faced, the goals they chase, and the grit it takes to keep showing up.
On Thursday, April 24th at 6pm, we’re thrilled to welcome Jayk to Fleet Feet Meridian for a live interview with our very own Megan Lacy, co-owner of Fleet Feet Treasure Valley.
Megan found running at just 8 years old, and it’s shaped every chapter of her life since. From racing in the NCAA at Stanford & Boise State, to qualifying for the Olympic Trials, earning spots on two USA teams, and holding the course record at Race to Robie Creek—her journey is filled with both triumphs and tough lessons.
She’ll talk about balancing elite training with real life, navigating mental health along the way, and what it means to keep chasing big goals—including her current pursuit to qualify for the 2025 Mountain World Championship team in June.
If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to compete at a high level or just want to connect with a community of real, resilient runners—this night is for you!
This isn’t Jayk’s first visit time interviewing someone from our Fleet Feet community either—he’s also featured powerful convos with Alex Mimlitz (Fleet Feet Treasure Valley Owner), A.K. Whittaker (Training Programs Coordinator), and Kylee Wiscombe (Trail Fridays Founder).
Come by, listen in, and bring your questions. See you there!
RSVP on STRAVA or FACEBOOK so we know to expect you!
