How the Process Works

Step 1: 3D Foot Scan

We begin with a quick digital scan that captures your foot shape, arch height, and measurements. This gives us a clear understanding of your structure before recommending footwear.

Step 2: Barefoot Walking Analysis

Next, we have you walk barefoot so we can observe your natural gait and how your foot strikes the floor. This helps us learn whether you overpronate (roll inward), supinate (roll outward), or have a neutral stride. We also look at how your arch works while you move.

Understanding these details helps us select shoes that support proper alignment, reduce strain, and improve comfort and performance.

Using the information from your scan and walking assessment, we curate a selection of shoes tailored to your movement needs. We consider support, cushioning, stability, and the type of activities you enjoy—whether you are running long distances, training for races, or looking for everyday comfort.

Step 3: Personalized Gear Recommendations

Our Outfitters recommend shoes, insoles, and socks based on your data, your goals, and the types of Idaho terrain you use the most. Your scan is saved, making future visits easy and convenient.
