Trail Running Film Festival - Boise
As spring brings new energy to Idaho’s rugged landscapes, adventure seekers and outdoor enthusiasts can look forward to the 2026 Trail Running Film Festival in Boise, hosted by Fleet Feet Treasure Valley. Taking place on April 24 and April 25 at Idaho Film Society, this event will showcase inspiring stories of endurance, breathtaking scenery, and the joy of moving through nature.
The festival features multiple showings over both evenings, making it more than just a film event. It's a celebration of the spirit that drives us to explore Idaho’s public lands and trails. Whether you are an experienced ultrarunner, a curious hiker, or simply someone who appreciates outdoor adventure, this is an experience worth attending.
The festival offers a great opportunity to connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts in a welcoming, social environment. Before and after screenings, as well as during intermissions, attendees can share stories, build connections, and even meet future trail partners.
On Friday, April 24, join the Tree City Track Club, and on Saturday, April 25, connect with the Trail Fridays community at special social gatherings to learn more about each group and learn how to get involved.
This year’s film lineup features a diverse collection of stories, from high-energy ultramarathons to reflective journeys through remote landscapes. Each film highlights not only human perseverance but also the importance of protecting and preserving the natural places we love.
Even if you do not consider yourself a trail runner, this event is for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, storytelling, and stunning cinematography. It is an opportunity to experience the trails in a new way, surrounded by a passionate local community.
Please note that the venue is currently 21 and over, and all attendees must meet this requirement. Join us for an unforgettable weekend celebrating adventure, community, and the landscapes that inspire us.
