February Events at Fleet Feet Treasure Valley

We made it through the first month of the year, nice work! Now it’s time to dig in and be intentional about the rest of 2026. February is packed with opportunities to keep moving, stay healthy, and connect with our community, both in person and virtually. From training clinics to wellness education and fun celebrations, there’s something for everyone. 

Here’s what's happening this month:

February 1 – GWOT 100 Virtual Challenge

Date & Time: January 31 – February 28
Location: Virtual

Complete 100 miles in February—your way. Run, walk, ruck, cycle, swim, row, SkiErg, elliptical, stair climber, Jacob’s Ladder, or mix it up. Every mile counts. Join the Winter Warriors meetup on Tuesday, February 3rd to kickoff the challenge, and Winter Warriors come in Military attire or Military theme for an extra point!

 February 4 – Robie Half Marathon Training Program

Downhill Running Clinic #1
Date & Time: Wednesday, February 4 | 5:30 PM
Location: Camelsback Park – 1200 Heron St, Boise, ID 83702

This clinic rotates between eccentric downhill skills workshops, Camel’s Back stair workouts, and hill repeat or hill sprint sessions. All levels are welcome, and every workout can be completed at your appropriate threshold pace—whether you run or hike.

This clinic is open to the public, so come join a fun, heart-pumping workout session.

February 10 – Robie Half Marathon Training Program

Injury Prevention Night
Date & Time: Tuesday, February 10 | 5:30 PM
Location: Fleet Feet Meridian – 3573 E. Longwing Lane, Suite 105, Meridian, ID 83646

Got a little ache that’s been hanging around? Something that feels “fine” until it doesn’t? Or maybe you want to be proactive before training ramps up.

Join us for Injury Prevention Night with our physical therapy partners at DuPont Wellness. This relaxed, athlete-friendly evening includes:

  • The chance to ask questions about aches, pains, or movement concerns
  • A free injury screening from a licensed physical therapist
  • Hands-on guidance, including manual stretching
  • Simple tips to keep you running, walking, hiking, and training strong

This clinic is for Robie Half Marathon Training Program members. If you’re interested in joining the program, stop by the store during the clinic and speak with a coach.

February 17 – Winter Warriors End-of-Season Party

Date & Time: Tuesday, February 17 | 6:00 PM
Location: Fleet Feet Meridian – 3573 E. Longwing Lane, Suite 105, Meridian, ID 83646

Let’s close out the winter season with a celebration of community—and a little friendly competition. Who earned the most points? Co-owner Megan Lacy will announce the top three finishers and crown the overall Winter Warriors winner with the coveted Silver Shoe!

Join us for warm drinks, sweet snacks, and some cool Winter Warriors items. No walking or running required—just come celebrate with us.


 

February 18 – Robie Half Marathon Training Program

Downhill Running Clinic #2
Date & Time: Wednesday, February 18 | 5:30 PM
Location: Camelsback Park – 1200 Heron St, Boise, ID 83702

This second downhill clinic continues the rotation of eccentric downhill skills, stair workouts, and hill repeat or sprint sessions. All levels are welcome, and workouts can be adjusted to your personal effort level.

This clinic is open to the public. Come ready to work hard and have fun.

February 21 - Cupid’s Undies Run

Date & Time: Saturday February 21 | 12:00 PM - 4:00PM (Run starts at 2:00PM)
Location: Tom Grainey’s - 109 S 6th St Boise, ID 83702

Join us for a party and a fun run in your undies—all in the name of charity! This short, one-mile(ish) walk/run kicks off at Tom Grainey’s and loops through downtown Boise. Grab your friends, find the perfect “Cupid’s outfit,” and help raise awareness for neurofibromatosis.

Funds raised will support the Children’s Tumor Foundation, which is dedicated to finding effective treatments for the millions of people worldwide living with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and all forms of schwannomatosis (SWN), including NF2-related schwannomatosis (NF2-SWN).

February 23 – Robie Half Marathon Training Program

Nutrition Seminar
Date & Time: Monday, February 23 | 6:00 PM
Location: Virtual

This seminar is designed for endurance athletes preparing for efforts lasting longer than 90 minutes, including long runs, trail races, half marathons, marathons, and ultra-distance events.

Coach A.K. will cover how to fuel and hydrate effectively before, during, and after longer endurance efforts, with practical strategies you can actually use. Topics include:

  • Why fueling needs change after 90 minutes
  • Carbohydrate requirements during endurance exercise
  • Hydration and electrolyte basics—and common mistakes to avoid
  • How to practice fueling during training, not just on race day
  • Signs of under-fueling and dehydration
  • Simple planning strategies for long runs and race day

This seminar is appropriate for all levels, with time for questions at the end.

February 24 – 25 Lessons from 25 Marathons Seminar

Date & Time: Tuesday, February 24 | 6:00 PM(A group run will start at 6:00 PM, followed by the seminar at 6:30 PM.)

In 2025, local fitness coach and endurance athlete Justin Levine took on an ambitious challenge, running 25 marathons in one calendar year while raising awareness for his nonprofit InspireKidz and promoting health and movement in our community.

Join Justin as he shares 25 lessons learned from a year of consistent training, racing, and showing up, both physically and mentally. This talk will cover practical takeaways on training, mindset, recovery, and life balance, along with real-world insights for runners of all levels.

Whether you’re preparing for an upcoming season, training for your first race, or simply looking for motivation and perspective, this presentation will leave you inspired, informed, and ready to take on your next goal.
