December Is Here - Lace Up & Let's Frolic!
The season of festive holiday runs and events has arrived, and we’ve got you covered from Caldwell to the Boise Foothills! We’ve also kicked off our annual Winter Warriors program — and there’s still time to sign up! As we close out the year, let’s end on a fantastic note, enjoying the season with family, friends, and frolicking through the streets and trails of Southwest Idaho!
Here’s what’s happening in December:
Hot Cocoa Holiday Hustle
Date & Time: Saturday, Dec. 6, 9:30 AM
Location: Reid Merrill Park, Eagle, ID
Join us for the Holiday Hot Cocoa Hustle 5K! This fun run supports Girls on the Run Treasure Valley, empowering young girls through running and confidence-building programs.
Ugly Sweater Stroll 5K
Date & Time: Saturday, Dec. 6, 11:00 AM
Location: Achilles Fitness Institute, Eagle, ID
Wear your ugliest sweater for a festive 1-mile walk or 3-mile run! Enjoy a toy drive supporting local children and an ugly sweater contest, followed by a holiday celebration with a hot cocoa & coffee bar and catered treats.
Run to InspireKidz - Virtual Event
Date & Time: Friday, Dec. 12 - Sunday, Dec. 14
Location: Virtual
Run anywhere to support InspireKidz, a nonprofit that helps kids access sports and fitness. Run 1 mile or a marathon, at your pace, and help make a difference!
Ugly Sweater 5K
Date & Time: Saturday, Dec. 13, 9:30 AM
Location: Whittenberg Park, Caldwell, ID
It’s back! The longest-running live holiday race in the Treasure Valley. Enjoy festive fun, prizes, and holiday cheer. Dogs are welcome, too!
Tree City Track Club Holiday Social
Date & Time: Wednesday, Dec. 17, 6:00 PM
Location: Barbarian Brewing Company, Boise, ID
Join us for good drinks, good conversation, and a short update about the club. A great chance to meet new people and catch up with old friends.
Run Santa Run
Date & Time: Saturday, Dec. 20, 11:00 AM
Location: Centennial Golf Course, Nampa, ID
Dress as Santa (or Mrs. Claus!) for a festive 5K with the whole family! Register before Dec. 16th to avoid price increases.
