Boise Galloway - Run / Walk / Run!
The 2026 Winter / Spring Season is well underway!

General info:
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out, our program offers a supportive community and effective training methods to help you achieve your running/walking goals. Here’s how it works:
- Run / Walk / Run Approach: We follow Olympian Jeff Galloway’s proven Run / Walk / Run approach. By incorporating walking intervals, we minimize injuries and maximize enjoyment. Whether you’re aiming for a 10K or a half marathon, this method helps you build endurance and improve your fitness.
- Group Runs (and Walks!): Every Saturday morning, members run together in designated pace groups. These groups consist of 5 to 12 people, organized based on individual Magic Mile times. Running with others is motivating and fun, and our experienced Pace Group Leaders ensure that no one ever runs alone. And if you need or prefer to walk only, we have a group for you!
- Race Goals: At the end of the season, athletes participate in their target 5k, 10k or Half Marathon race. Our structured training program and detailed schedule guide you toward achieving your race goal.
- Additional Benefits:
- Coached Group Runs: Structured group runs on Saturday provide support, camaraderie, and fitness. It’s a great way to connect with fellow runners and walkers!
- Informal Group Runs: A second weekly 45-minute group run during the week gives you another opportunity to run with the group! This is when you can try out different intervals and paces.
- Galloway Training Program E-Book: Access Jeff Galloway’s comprehensive training book for ongoing reference.
- Expert Partners: Get advice on gear selection, nutrition, and other fitness activities from local experts.
- Member-Only Facebook Page: Join our community of current and alumni members for additional support and encouragement.
Feel free to explore our FAQs for more details on how our program can work for you! If you have any questions or need further information, don’t hesitate to ask. Happy running!
