April Events at Fleet Feet Treasure Valley
We are springing into April with excitement! This time of year brings a little bit of everything, from windy days to spring rain to stretches of sunshine, all the more reason to keep showing up and staying active. April is all about embracing the elements and connecting with our running and walking community. With a full calendar of races and events, there are plenty of ways to keep moving and enjoy the season. Here’s what’s happening this month:
April 1 – Robie Half Marathon Training Program
Downhill Running Clinic #4
Date & Time: Wednesday, April 1 | 6:00 PM
Location: Camelsback Park – 1200 Heron St, Boise, ID 83702
This fourth downhill clinic continues the rotation of eccentric downhill skills, stair workouts, and hill repeat or sprint sessions. All levels are welcome, and workouts can be adjusted to your personal effort level.
This clinic is open to the public. Come ready to work hard and have fun.

April 3 - Move for Mobility

There is time to get signed up and join us for this charitable event, Move for Mobility, happening Friday, April 3. This free and accessible 5K welcomes all paces and abilities, from walkers to runners to adaptive athletes. Together, we’re supporting Free Wheelchair Mission and working toward our goal of funding 50 wheelchairs in 2026. Come be part of a meaningful evening of movement and community
April 4 - Sterry Fun Run

Please join us for the 2nd annual Sterry 5K Fun Run, a 3.1-mile adventure on scenic rural roads in Roswell, Idaho. Whether you run, walk, stroll, or crawl, all are welcome to be part of the fun. This year also features a 1K Kids Dash for ages 5 to 13, making it a great event for the whole family. Packet pickup will be held Friday, April 3 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at Fleet Feet Nampa.
April 4 - Patriot Invitational

At Fleet Feet Treasure Valley, alongside our partners at Diadora, we’re proud to support this event by providing race bibs and medals. April 6 - Fuel Your Miles Spring - Training Program Info Night

Join us for the first of three informational sessions for our new spring training program. We’re excited to introduce a seven-week training and nutrition program led by Coach A.K, designed for all paces and experience levels. Built with a beginner-friendly approach, the program focuses on community, accountability, and simple, practical nutrition education for runners and walkers.

April 11 - Serenatta Shuffle

The Serenata Shuffle is a fun, music-filled 5K and 1-Mile Run along the scenic Boise Greenbelt, starting and finishing at Veterans Memorial Park. With live performances from Serenata Orchestra musicians along the course, this event is perfect for runners, walkers, and families. Participants receive a t-shirt, a commemorative medallion, and a chance to win raffle prizes.
Hosted by Serenata Orchestra, this annual fundraiser supports their mission to provide free, family-friendly concerts to the Treasure Valley community.
April 13 - Fuel Your Miles - Spring Training Program Info Night (virtual)

April 18 - One If By Land: American 250 5K

Join us for One if by Land: America 250, a fun, all-ages 5K hosted by the Fruitland Mayor’s Youth Council in celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday. Inspired by the anniversary of Paul Revere’s ride, this community-focused event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to run, walk, or cheer. Every registration supports the Mayor’s Youth Council Scholarship Fund, helping invest in local students and future leaders.
April 18 - Caldwell YMCA Healthy Kids Day

The Fleet Feet Treasure Valley Robie Half Marathon Training Program has spent the past 12 weeks working hard in preparation for race day. Whether you’ve been part of the journey or not, you can still join in the excitement. Throw on your best running outfit and head down to Fort Boise Park to cheer on the runners and be part of the incredible energy that makes this event so special.

Kick off Fuel Your Miles with us at Fleet Feet Meridian! We’re excited to bring everyone together for an evening of connection, community, and a shared start to the season. Come hang out, enjoy some snacks, and meet your teammates before we head over to Julius Kleiner Memorial Park for a fun, relaxed group walk or run together.
It’s the perfect chance to ease into the program, get to know the group, and take a look at any gear you might need for the weeks ahead. We can’t wait to get started with you!

Fleet Feet Treasure Valley is excited to once again host the 2026 Trail Running Film Festival at the Idaho Film Society. This year’s program features 10 exceptional films from around the world, highlighting powerful stories that capture the spirit of trail running and the outdoors.

April 25 - Interfaith 5K

Location: Boise State University, parking lot between Albertson’s Stadium and ExtraMile Arena - 1400 Bronco Ln, Boise, ID 83706
Boise State University clubs are coming together to host the Interfaith 5K, a community-focused event centered on connection, movement, and shared experience. Open to all, this welcoming event invites participants of every background, pace, and experience level to come together in a positive and inclusive environment.

The Caldwell Classic offers a fast, flat 5K and 1-Mile Race designed for PRs, fun, and all ages.
Bogus Trail Series - Three Races

The Bogus Trail Series returns this summer with three fun and challenging Friday evening races at Bogus Basin bringing the community together on the trails.

The Boise Front Trail Festival brings two days of fun with a Friday night uphill race followed by 5- and 10-mile trail races on Saturday morning.

The XC12K offers 5K and 12K options to run or hike with an 11:00 AM cutoff, all while supporting the Bogus Basin Nordic Team and Nordic skiing in the Treasure Valley.

Idaho Running Day includes a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon along the Boise Greenbelt from Lucky Peak to Southeast Boise.
