10K Training
Our 10K training programs are a great “next step” from our 5K programs. Whether you want to maintain your current fitness level, continually challenge your endurance, or develop a solid foundation in the hopes of training for a future half or full marathon, this is the training program for you! Our 10K programs typically meet 1-2 times a week and incorporate more independence, and new workouts to increase leg strength and efficiently. Our 10K programs will help participants continue to grow in their knowledge of running.
Spring 2021 – Madtown 10K Training (Virtual Only)
- 5K and 10K Training Program · Goal Race: Madtown 10K on May 29, 2021
- Program Duration: March 22, 2021 – May 29, 2021 (10 weeks)
- Registration Deadline: Friday, March 19, 2021
- Registration: Select virtual training as an “add-on” during race registration
Fall 2021 – No Boundaries
- 5K and 10K Training Program · Goal Race: Madison Marathon 10K on November 14, 2021
- Program Duration: September 6, 2021 – November 14, 2021 (10 weeks)
- Registration Deadline: Sunday, September 5, 2021
