We have just received the new Nike LunarGlide 6. A plush feeling mild-stability shoe, the LunarGlide continues its tradition of support without sacrificing cushion by bringing out the newest and softest Lunarlon foam yet. It has a 10mm heel to toe drop.
This shoe received an overhaul and looks drastically different from last year's version. The flywire movement from Nike continues here, but what makes this model unique is the dual layered upper construction. An engineered foam package with perforations allows the upper to conform to the natural shape of the foot as it transitions through the gait cycle. An ultra-thin mesh over the foam enhances the breathability. There are no-sew overlays and features a seamless interior. The sock-liner also conforms to your foot, giving the foot a 360 degree customized fit.
A dual-density midsole uses the Phylon foam on the medial side to deliver a dynamic support, and the Lunarlon foam on the lateral side and extending into the forefoot for the smoothest, cushiest transition yet. The outsole design maps the pressure path of running for a more efficient use of rubber. The result is optimal traction and durability with a reduction in overall weight. Molded blades and flex grooves promote a natural range of motion and carbonized rubber in the heel protect this high abrasion area.
