What is a Mentor?:
A Mentor is a person who volunteers their time for a Fleet Feet Training Program. Mentors are motivators, encouragers, cheerleaders, and advocates of Fleet Feet Training Programs. Mentors change lives. Being a Mentor is simply sharing your passion for running/walking with others. Mentors play a key role in the organization of the programs and making sure participants are getting the most out of their experience in a safe and fun setting.
Remember, treat others as you would like to be treated. Being a mentor is an amazing experience. You will be in front of a range of personalities and people. Imagine being a participant (again), how would you like to be treated? What would motivate you? What makes a great mentor? Did you have a mentor who inspired you and why?
