I was born in Willemstad, Curaçao and came to the United States a short four months after being born. Seventeen years and two thousand miles later, I’m currently in my senior year at East Longmeadow High School and plan to major in Nursing at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst Commonwealth Honors College this upcoming fall.
What do you like best about working at Fleet Feet Sports?
Working at Fleet Feet Sports Longmeadow has been such a rewarding experience. Helping a discouraged, “I’ve tried everything” customer finally reach that “ahh perfect” moment is so exciting and one of the most rewarding feelings.
Our mission is all about helping people live a healthy, active lifestyle. How do YOU live a healthy, active lifestyle?
When it comes to living a healthy lifestyle, playing three high school sports definitely helps me stay active every day. Additionally, I love running in and out of my sports seasons. When I have the time, hiking, scuba diving, snowboarding, skiing, swimming and strength training are definitely some of my favorite past times!
What is one area of expertise you have that you feel will benefit our customers?
As a high school track athlete myself, understanding the needs of a track athlete is an area I feel equipped on the store floor. I love to not only get track athletes in the right shoe for training but also help them beyond the shoe. I enjoy sharing running and injury prevention tips to help all athletes have a healthy season. I also love to help track runners find a spike to bring their performance to the next level!
