Dana always wanted a career where she could assist individuals in making positive lifestyle changes, which is why she pursued a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It wasn’t until her senior year of college, while coaching high school softball and training for her first half-marathon, that she found her passion for understanding how nutrition impacts performance. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nutrition and complete her dietetic internship at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
