"Good things will come to those who wait. History is in the making after 26 years." posted Shahin Hadian as he and his wife awaited takeoff to a race he's been working so hard for - Ironman Kona in beautiful Hawaii. The Big Kahuna. The Ironman Championships. While they waited for Anna, their daughter, and Cheryl's Dad who were due to arrive a few days later, Cheryl and Shahin worked through a few minor travel snafus (lost luggage but thankfully not the bike), and settled in awaiting the big day.

Back stateside, all of those 600 training program people we mentioned earlier, were able to follow Shahin online, cheering him on mile by mile. Cheryl posted photos as well so we could see our trusty coach race the big one. The last post came in at 4:42 am EST with Shahin finishing the way he tells all his trainees...STRONG.

We are proud of you Shahin. You continue to inspire us all to work hard and accomplish our goals.
