Emily Pace has been working in the community for 4.5 years and is currently the Pelvic Health District Clinical Quality Leader. Emily works at Results Physiotherapy as a specialist in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy. Emily started running in PT school and has participated in short races (5 - 8K). Her other interests include yoga, exercising, skiing, traveling and reading. She also recently started taking an aerial silks class.
The purpose of this presentation is to focus on the importance of how the hip, abdomen, and pelvic floor can optimize running performance. This will include information about how these structures relate to each other and what can happen if these structures are not working together as a team.The presentation will be focused on running, but is applicable to all athletes (males and females).
