Fleet Feet Running Club presents its first speed and distance training group. It is perfect for those who have a race coming up or just want company and direction with their training.
This is a 6 week program in which we will meet as a group for speed work and long runs--the two things that can help a lot to have others with to keep you moving and motivated.
Coaches will provide weekly speed workouts and routes on Saturday mornings for you.
Garmin mapped routes and turn by turns will be provided.
The long run distances will go up to 10 miles.
You will receive a Running Club shirt and have access to many coaches, mentors, and employees to answer any an all questions you may have.
Kickoff: Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 7AM
Training Starts: Saturday, June 1st at 7AM
Weekly Training: Saturdays at 7AM
Speed Work: Tuesdays at 6AM or 6PM
Locations: Fleet Feet Huntsville and various locations
- Training program registration fee - $100
- Training programs can be purchased in-store or online
- Fleet Feet gift cards can be applied toward training program registration
- No refunds, no exchanges, and no transfers at any time
- Must be at least 14 years of age to register
Suggested Activity Level Prior to Start of Training
-Have raced a 10K within a year prior to goal race day
-Start the training program by being able to comfortably run 10-15 miles per week and a 5 mile distance for a long run.
-We do recommend that you check with your doctor before starting a fitness program
