Our Timing Solutions Include:

• ChronoTrack Timing Systems: Trusted by some of the largest marathons in the world, including the New York City Marathon and the Boston Marathon, ChronoTrack is the industry standard for race timing. We are proud to bring this gold-standard technology to races in North Alabama.
• AeroTrack Devices: Our AeroTrack devices offer cutting-edge timing capabilities, ensuring accurate split times and finish line results. These lightweight, easy-to-deploy systems are perfect for events of any size, providing precise data in real-time using sim card cell based devices.
• B-Tag Microchips: ChronoTrack’s B-Tags are a highly reliable and widely-used RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) solution for race timing. The B-Tag is an integral part of the bib itself, simplifying the logistics of timing races and improving the overall experience for both race organizers and participants.

What Are B-Tags?

• RFID Technology: B-Tags are embedded with RFID technology, which allows them to communicate with timing systems placed along the racecourse and at the finish line.
• Integration with Bibs: Unlike some other timing chips that are separate from the bib, B-Tags are directly integrated into the race bib. This means runners only need to wear their bibs, and the B-Tag automatically handles the rest.
• Lightweight and Flexible: The B-Tag is extremely lightweight and flexible, making it comfortable for runners to wear without any interference during the race.

How Do B-Tags Work?

• Activation: B-Tags are activated as runners pass over mats or by aerotracks that are placed at strategic points along the racecourse. These mats contain antennas that detect the unique code in each B-Tag, recording the time when each runner passes.
• Accuracy: B-Tags provide highly accurate timing data, often within a few tenths of a second. This level of precision is crucial for both competitive races and for providing participants with accurate personal times.
• No Need for Returns: Since B-Tags are part of the bib and designed for single use, there’s no need for participants to return them after the race. This reduces logistical complications for race directors and enhances the participant experience.

Pricing

Our pricing is straightforward and designed to accommodate races of all sizes:

• Flat Rate: $800 for any race with 200 runners or fewer.
• Additional Runners: $2 per runner beyond 200.
• Special Discount: If Fleet Feet Huntsville is a sponsor of your race, you'll receive $100 off the total cost.
• Travel Expenses: For races located more than 60 miles from Huntsville, additional travel expenses will apply. These expenses will be discussed and agreed upon prior to contract finalization.
