What is our Half Marathon Training Program?
Our Half Marathon training program is a 12-week program beginning beginning Tuesday, March 24th, 2020 designed to train intermediate and advanced runners to set new PR's or complete new distances.
We meet Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm and Saturday mornings at 7:30 am.
Our goal race is the Run the South Half Marathon in the University area on Saturday, June 13th, 2020.
We have several run and run/walk pace group options from a sub 9 minute mile pace to a 15 minute pace.
The program cost is $120 (does not include the race entry fee) and includes a technical shirt, coach-led sessions 2 days per week, a 12 week detailed training plan, great opportunities to meet running friends, and an introduction to running routes on area greenways and neighborhoods.
This program will educate runners on running form, hydration and nutrition techniques, pacing, injury prevention, cross training, race gear and race preparation!
Our Half Marathon Training Program will be coached by Sheryl Duffenbaugh.
