Helen joined the team in April 2025 and is the first full-time employee at Fleet Feet Hattiesburg. She is from Sumrall, MS and graduated from Southern Miss with a major in Communication Studies BS and a marketing minor. When she is not outfitting or working on marketing the store she likes to run, color, watch documentaries, read, or play video games. Her favorite shoe is the Cloud Surfer 2 and she likes to run on the Southern Miss campus.

Bill Bustin
Medical Outreach
Bill joined our team in March of 2025 and he is a Hattiesburg local! He has an Undergrad Political Science Mississippi State and a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Theological Seminary. Bill enjoys going to the beach or the mountains and in his free time he likes to run. He likes all of the shoes at Fleet Feet and enjoys meeting new people and seeing familiar faces in the store. He enjoys running in Canebrake and joining us at local races and events to show his support!

Jennifer Batista

Jennifer is from Laurel, MS and joined the Fleet Feet from the very beginning in December 2024. She has earned an Associates degree from Hinds Community College and is currently pursuing her Bachelors degree in Health Science at Southern Miss. When Jen isn’t fitting customers for shoes she enjoys working out and hanging out with her friends. Her favorite shoe is the Cloud Eclipse and although she doesn’t run often, she’s always willing to volunteer and help out at events.

Jackson Smith

Jackson has been with Fleet Feet since August of 2021 in Jackson, MS. He came to Hattiesburg to pursue his undergraduate degree in accounting at Southern Miss. He is originally from Brandon, MS and in his free time he enjoys playing the guitar and spending time with his friends. He has been an integral team member at our store and we are happy to have him here in Hattiesburg with us! His favorite shoe is the Karhu Mestari Run, and when he goes on a run his favorite space is the trace.

Ethan Lott

Ethan has been a part of the Hattiesburg team since the beginning in December of 2024. He is a Hub City local and is pursuing a degree in interdisciplinary studies. Ethan has played a large role as a coach in our training groups and leads our fun run courses to ensure no one gets lost on the route! He is currently training for an Ultra-marathon but he also enjoys playing disk golf. We are proud to have him on our team and we’re cheering him on throughout his running journey. His favorite shoes are the Saucony Speed 4 and he likes to run in Canebrake.

Rhonda Hayden
Marketing Coordinator
Rhonda joined our team in February 2025. Originally from Mobile, AL, she now calls Hattiesburg home. She holds a Master’s degree in Exercise Science, and when she’s not outfitting athletes, she enjoys running, cycling, planning events, and being a mom! Rhonda also owns Kinda Gritty Signature Events, and if you’ve ever attended a Kinda Gritty event, you’ve seen her creativity and attention to detail in action.
With a strong background in marketing, Rhonda has been instrumental in elevating our social media, strengthening community outreach, and helping establish Fleet Feet’s presence in Hattiesburg. Her favorite shoe is the Brooks Ghost, and her go-to running spot is Lake Serene.

Lanie is from Petal, MS and doubles as a cosmetologist and a Fleet Feet outfitter! She has been with Fleet Feet Hattiesburg since the very beginning in December 2024. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends, especially on the river. Her favorite shoe in the store is the Cloudmonster 2 and she is not a frequent runner but enjoys volunteering at local races and fun runs! She is always a member of our team that we can count on to go the extra mile.

Luke is a Hub City local and joined the team at the very beginning in December 2024. He is a sophomore at William Carey studying Biology and enjoys running for his school. When Luke isn’t at the store fitting shoes, his favorite thing to do is run. We are proud of him and enjoy watching his running journey throughout college! His favorite shoe is the Experience Flow 2 and he likes to run at the Jackson Road Pavillion located by the trace.

Cameron Wells

Cam joined our team at the end of May 2025 and has been a perfect addition to our store here in Hattiesburg. He is originally from Jackson, MS and is currently earning his Master’s degree at Southern Miss. When Cam is not fitting customers for shoes or studying he enjoys lifting weights, playing basketball, and reading! He does not run very often, but when he does cardio he uses a treadmill and his favorite shoe is the Cloudmonsters.

Megan started at Fleet Feet Hattiesburg in December of 2024 and has been working with us since the beginning. She is from Flowood, MS and is a student at Southern Miss working hard in the Nursing Program. When she is not fitting customers for shoes or studying for class, she enjoys going on a run or watching documentaries. Saxon joined our team in September 2025 but has worked at a Fleet Feet for two years now! He is from Greenville, South Carolina and worked at the local Fleet Feet there until moving to Hattiesburg to pursue his Master’s at Southern Miss University. He loves to run and joins our local fun runs when he’s not running with his teammates at USM. His favorite shoe is the Asics Superblast 2 and he brings two years of outfitting experience and a passion for running to our store!
