Dartfish Video Motion Analysis
Dartfish is a video motion analysis software that is used to evaluate athletes while in motion. You will be recorded from four different angles (front, back, both sides) while running. The video will then be analyzed frame by frame to identify biomechanical deficits that may cause injury or hinder performance. Based on the analysis, you will be given personalized stretching and strengthening exercises to address your specific issues. Review of the video includes a one on one session with a certified athletic trainer and a personalized CD-ROM of your analysis.
Video recording takes place at Fleet Feet Sports. The video is then emailed to Mike DiStefano, ATC, CSCS, PES of Select Physical Therapy for analysis.
Dartfish Baseline Video
You can have your running gait recorded and stored as a baseline to be used for comparison at a later date. This can be beneficial if you ever develop an injury, are working on changing your stride, or are experimenting with different types of footwear to find what works best for you.
