Celebrate National Rescue Dog Day with us, Topo and Dog Star Rescue!

Topo will be onsite with shoe demos you can test on your run or walk. Try the Aura for stability and max cushioning, or lace up in the Atmos 2 and Phantom 4 for a cushioned, responsive, and comfortable ride. Balega will also be here with their soft, moisture‑wicking performance socks designed to prevent blisters. And to keep you fueled, Tailwind Nutrition will be sampling endurance‑friendly hydration and energy products.

Dog Star Rescue—a volunteer‑run, non‑profit organization based in the Hartford area—will also be here so you can learn more about their mission, get involved, donate, and of course, meet some adorable dogs. You can also support them by bringing old sneakers to recycle. Proceeds from recycled shoes go to Dog Star’s Veterans Program, which helps match rescue dogs with Veterans.

After the run, stick around for pets, treats for the dogs, Scooby Snacks for the humans and drinks!

All paces are welcome to run or walk with us. Choose a 1–2 mile or 3–4 mile route. When you arrive, sign in, grab a printed route, and join the group warm‑up at 6 PM in front of our Glastonbury store.
