Jamaica Relief Fundraiser Run & Walk

In light of the recent devastation of Hurricane Melissa, we are supporting our Jamaican friends and community with a fundraiser run and walk for Jamaica. 

All proceeds raised will go to the CT Caribbean Disaster Relief Coalition, led by the West Indian Foundation, a 501c(3) charity. You can donate online here. Join us in making a difference for Jamaica and other Caribbean islands affected by Hurricane Melissa.

All are welcome to walk, run or donate. Donate to raise money for relief efforts and to earn raffle tickets. We are raffling off 35 pairs of shoes - 5 each from HOKA, Brooks, New Balance, ASICS, Saucony, On and Topo. Plus, we are raffling off several race entries to local and destination races, including the Blue Back Mitten Run 5K, Peachtree 10K and Marine Corps Marathon.  Please register for FREE for this event here.

Choose from a 1.42-mile route or a 3.07-mile route to walk, jog or run. The walk/run will leave the store at 6:15pm with the raffle happening after walkers and runners have returned to the store. Donate in-person or online and share your receipt at our event to claim your raffle tickets. You must be present at the raffle drawing to be a winner.

Visibility gear is required at our fun runs for your safety. We have extra reflective vests you may borrow for the run/walk. Meet at the store for the event. We have limited parking in our store parking lot, but there are free and paid parking options on local streets. Please arrive early to find parking, grab a printed route and enter the raffle. Our group stretch starts at 6:15pm outside in front of the store.
