Description: Calling all Middle and High School Runners! Summer training is one of the best ways to build a solid base of endurance and strength for cross country season. The Fleet Feet Distance Project will be a mix of endurance, speed, and strength to get you all primed for the season. We will be offering two practices a week, one focusing on the endurance with tempo runs, progressive runs and hills, while the other will focus more on strength building by incorporating circuit training, resistance bands and mini hurdle drills.
Join Coach Nick Ciaccia, 5K record holding ECU Track & Field and XC Alum, for two sessions per week aimed at gaining strength and speed with workouts designed just for you.
*Prerequisite to participation - We require a 9 minute mile or less for 1 mile for Middle Schoolers and 7:30 minute mile or less for High Schoolers.
