Two Cities 5K Fitness
This training group will get you ready to cross that finish line and we will get you there as we gently increase your weekly mileage. We will offer fun weekly routes with inclusive workouts for the walker, interval walk/runner and runner. Whether you are ready to conquer your first 5k or are looking for camaraderie and a fun group to belong to as you step up your fitness, we are here to help.
Goal Event: Two Cities Gavin Gladding Memorial 5K
Duration: 8 weeks, two group training runs per week
Dates: Sept. 16, 2023 - November 5, 2023
Days and times: Tuesdays at 6:00pm and Saturdays at 7:00am
Gear Night: TBD at 6:15pm (Get 10% off storewide and a Gift with purchase!)
Cost: $80, includes Two Cities Training Team T-shirt
IN PERSON Info Meeting and Kickoff: Tuesday, September 12th at 6:00pm at Fleet Feet
You'll have the chance to meet your Coaches, ask questions, socialize with other participants and gear up. We'll have raffles, gift with purchase and refreshments.

Not sure if 5K fitness is right for you? Attend the info meeting on 9/12 and/or register for our First Time Free Day, taking place on Saturday at 7am at 9/16! First Time Free gives you the opportunity to check out the 1st day of practice for free to make sure that training with us is a good fit for you.

Locations and Times
Two Cities 5K Fitness meets at various locations on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM and Saturdays at 7:00 AM. Group activities usually last 60-90 minutes, depending on the distance of the run/walk.
Coaching
Fleet Feet's team of experienced coaches will check in with you at every training run to keep track of your progress, keep you motivated, and give you individualized coaching. Training groups will be small, so you'll have plenty of one-on-one time with your coach.
Training Plan
Your 8 week training plan will provide daily assignments for running/walking, cross training, strength work, and recovery. The plan will gradually increase overall training volume while offering opportunities for your body to build back stronger, week after week.
Community
The camaraderie of training with a group week after week will take your training to the next level. When the training gets more rigorous, you'll have the collective strength of the group to keep you moving forward. When you crush a key workout, the group will be there to celebrate your achievement. And on those early morinings when you just don't feel like getting out of bed, the training group will keep you accountable.

No refunds after the first day of training.
Training fee does not include any race entry fee.
