Join us for 10 weeks of training designed to get you to the finish line of the Two Cities 10K! Challenge yourself to run past the 5K distance. We'll provide the experienced, encouraging coaches that keep things fun and you keep showing up ready to get stronger! We'll keep you accountable with a training plan complete with daily assignments for running, walking, cross training, and recovery. Motivation plus accountability, it's a recipe for success. Two Cities 10K Training
This training group will get you ready to cross that finish line and we will get you there as we gently increase your weekly mileage. We will offer fun weekly runs and occasionally challenge you with some diverse workouts. Whether you are looking for guidance on your first 10k or are looking for camaraderie and a fun group to belong to, we are here to help. All levels welcome.
Goal Event: Two Cities 10K
Duration: 10 weeks, two group training runs per week
Dates: August 26, 2023 - November 5, 2023
Days and times: Tuesdays at 6:00pm and Saturdays at 7:00am
Gear Night: TBD from 6-7pm (Get 10% off storewide and a Gift with purchase!)
Zoom KICKOFF: Tuesday, August 22nd at 6:00pm
We'll get you all the info you need to start training and we'll answer any questions you have at Kickoff!
You'll also have the opportunity to meet your Coaches and other participants!
Fleet Feet's team of experienced coaches will check in with you at every training run to keep track of your progress, keep you motivated, and give you individualized coaching and feedback. Training groups will have small coach to athlete ratios, so you'll have plenty of one-on-one time with your coach.

Your 10-week training plan will provide daily assignments for running/walking, cross training, strength work, and recovery. The plan is periodized to gradually increase overall training volume while offering opportunities for your body to build back stronger, week after week.
The camaraderie of training with a group week after week will take your training to the next level. When the training gets more rigorous, you'll have the collective strength of the group to keep you moving forward. When you crush a key workout, the group will be there to celebrate your achievement. And on those early morinings when you just don't feel like getting out of bed, the training group will keep you accountable.
