Take your speed up a level with Fleet Feet’s Summer Speed School. Join us for a once a week workout of interval or hill running, paired with body weight exercises, sure to make your fall racing fast and furious! The work will be challenging, but the reward will worth it!
Summer Speed School
Challenge yourself to build strength in the summer months before Two Cities training starts. Build a better running base using body weight exercises, drills and hill work. Work with our experienced coaches to get stronger, more efficient and increase speed. See the difference strength training makes in your runnning. Will you be sore? YES. Will it be worth it? You know it!
Workouts will be led by Felecia Nedley a Fresno State Track and Field All American who was inducted into the FSU Hall of Fame! She's a 4x Boston Marathon qualifier and experienced fitness professional. NASM certified Personal Trainer, NASM certified Fitness Nutritionist, Certified Mayo Clinic Health and Wellness Coach

Locations and Times
Summer Speed School will meet at Fleet Feet or the Clovis West track on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM. Schedule will be provided. Group activities usually last 60 minutes, depending on the circuit.
Coaching
Fleet Feet's team of experienced coaches will check in with you at every training run to keep track of your progress, keep you motivated, and give you individualized feedback. Coach to athlete ratios will be small, so you'll have plenty of one-on-one time with your coach.
Training Plan
Your 8 weekly sessions will include body weight exercises, strength work, interval and hill workouts, drills and recovery. The plan is designed to strengthen your body in key areas to improve your running efficiency and speed.
Community
The camaraderie of training with a group week after week will take your training to the next level. When the training gets more rigorous, you'll have the collective strength of the group to keep you moving forward. When you crush a key workout, the group will be there to celebrate your achievement. And on those days when you're tired after work, the training group will keep you accountable.
