Train for the Half
Challenge yourself to run farther than ever before or to reach that goal time in the half marathon. Our 14-week program is designed to help you reach your goals at the half marathon distance. Work together! Our half marathon groups are a fun mixture of experienced, intermediate and novice runners. We've got all paces and lots of encouraging coaches. Join us as we prepare for the Cal Classic half marathon!
Cal Classic
Half Marathon Training | All Levels
This training group is designed for every level looking to complete or compete in a half marathon. Training will be assigned appropriate to skill level with tiered workouts based on fitness level, ability and preference. Stay accountable with a training plan complete with daily assignments for running, walking, cross training, and recovery. Stay motivated, get fitter and have fun! If you are looking to work hard and stay motivated with a diverse group, this is the option for you!
Goal Event: California Classic Half Marathon
Duration: 14 weeks, two group training runs per week
Dates: January 17 - April 25, 2026
Days and times: Tuesdays at 6:30pm and Saturdays at 6:30am
KICKOFF: Saturday, January 17th at 6:30am
Cost: $170
Exclusive Member Appreciation Night (10% discount and Training Tee pickup): Jan 20th immediately after training
Coaching
Fleet Feet's team of experienced coaches will check in with you at every training run to keep track of your progress, keep you motivated, and give you individualized coaching and feedback. Training groups will have small coach to athlete ratios, so you'll have plenty of one-on-one time with your coach.

Training Plan
Your 14-week training plan will provide daily assignments for running/walking, cross training, strength work, and recovery. The plan is periodized to gradually increase overall training volume while offering opportunities for your body to build back stronger, week after week.
Community
The camaraderie of training with a group week after week will take your training to the next level. When the training gets more rigorous, you'll have the collective strength of the group to keep you moving forward. When you crush a key workout, the group will be there to celebrate your achievement. And on those early morinings when you just don't feel like getting out of bed, the training group will keep you accountable.

Training fee does not include any race entry fee.
Dogs, strollers and children under 18 are prohibited Fleet Feet Training group training runs.
