Strength and General Athletic Preparedness are often the missing link in a runner’s programming and performance. An emphasis on core to extremity and multi joint movements, Strength Training for Runners will improve your running form, build muscle where it matters, and improve your mobility, range of motion, and balance. With a focus on the basics and form, you'll gain the competency to move through a full range of motion in different planes. All movements can be scaled or modified to meet your needs.
This program is a great addition to our Fall running programs or for someone looking to switch up their cross-training routine one night a week. This class incorporates different types of strength training activities to help enhance your overall fitness and running performance.
Limited to 20 members.
- First Group Workout - Monday, Sept 7th @ 7pm-8pm
- Then each Monday for a total of 12 weeks (last workout -Nov 23rd)
- Location: Folsom, CA (outdoors)
