TRAINING DESCRIPTION
Have you ever experienced the runner’s high that comes with conquering a 5K? There’s nothing quite like it. Whether it’s your first ever 5K, or your first in a long time, Fleet Feet has a beginner-friendly training program that will get you to the finish line of our most exciting 5K of the year: The Big Run!
The plan offers a balance of run/walk workouts, cross training and rest days to gradually increase your fitness. Plus, your coach and fellow training group members will provide the guidance and motivation you need to stay on track and have fun along the way.
The Big Run 5K Training Program presented by Brooks culminates with the Big Run 5K on Global Running Day in June. More than a race, The Big Run is a celebration of running and the community it pulls together.

You will be supported by a team of coaches and mentors who will provide you with a weekly training program newsletters, a day-by-day training program, 2 supported runs each week, and more!
Details:
- Info Session: Wednesday April 5th
- Start Date: Wednesday April 12th
- Two meet ups per week, Wednesdays at 6pm and Sundays at 8am at Fleet Feet Boulder (formerly Boulder Running Company). Some Sunday locations may vary as we may use nearby parks and trail systems to spice up our training!
- All meetups are supported by mentors and coaches and have designated routes to keep everyone safe
- 1 weekly newsletter with a day-by-day training program sent out weekly with additional information on nutrition, injury prevention, and more
