Fleet Feet Delray Beach is celebrating Global Running Day in June with a spring 5K training program to get everyone ready for the Big Run Fun Run.
Have you always wanted to run a 5K but didn't know where to start? This beginner program is for you. Whether you want to run, walk or run/walk, Fleet Feet Running Club is here to help you stay motivated, active and reach this amazing fitness goal.
Or have you run a few 5Ks but want to get faster? Maybe you always use a run/walk interval and you want to build up to straight running? Maybe you have a goal time you want to beat. We can help you get stronger to crush those goals. Let's celebrate Global Running Day together!
This 8-week, beginner-friendly training program will culminate with the free Big Run Fun Run 5K on June 6th at the FAU Track and Field Complex in Baca Raton. Along the way, we’ll provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and education on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you!
The who/when/where
Who: Run Club Coach Adam Pollack will be leading the program.
When: The group will meet Tuesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m.
Where: Fleet Feet Delray Beach (unless otherwise announced)

Program Start: Tuesday March 31st at 6:00pm
Program Schedule: 6:00 p.m. Tuesdays and 8:00am Sundays
Program Fee: Early Bird Sign Up $80 until March 16th $120 afterwards
