Feel the Burn: Big Dog Heatwave 5 Miler to benefit Lifebridge Child Advocacy hits July 19

 

The annual Big Dog Heatwave 5 Miler heats up the Riverwalk’s northern route July 19 at 8AM. The race begins at Lake Oliver Marina (5501 River Road) and wraps up at Big Dog Fleet Feet (12 11th St) in Uptown Columbus. This scenic 5 Mile Course is the second race of the Columbus Roadrunner’s Riverwalk Series. Registration must be completed by July 18 to participate.

 The beneficiary of Big Dog Heatwave 5 Miler is Lifebridge Child Advocacy. Lifebridge mobilizes, organizes, and equips communities to provide foster and at-risk youth with a safe, healthy environment to learn, grow and reach their full potential. Learn more at lifebridgechildadvocacy.org.

Registration is $40. Packet pick up is at Big Dog Fleet Feet located at 12 W 11th Street on Friday, June 18th from noon - 6PM only. Only those who register by July 11th will be guaranteed a shirt.

Award Categories are 1st, 2nd & 3rd overall; 1st Masters; under 14, 15-19, 10-year age groups up to 70+; Male / Female in all categories. A point to point 5 mile race! We suggest parking near the finish with a friend and take one car to the start line. There will be no buses to take participants to the start or finish locations.
