What if this is the year you surprise yourself?
I’m going to tell you something I’ve seen over and over again: you’re capable of more than you think.
That’s why we created MIT (Marathoner in Training) at Fleet Feet Columbus.
As coaches, our job isn’t just to hand you a training plan. It’s to help you believe you can do this, and then show you how. Whether you’re brand new to running, coming back after a break, or chasing a new PR, we’ll meet you where you are and build from there:
- We’ll guide you through a structured, 16-week progressive training program where we run or walk twice a week to motivate one another.
- We’ll place you in a pace group that fits, providing 15 different options from 8:00 min/mile to 14:00 min/mile RUN-WALK.
- We’ll educate you from day one on gear, nutrition, injury prevention, and emotional/mental aspects of training and racing.
- We'll provide a place of belonging, where every person and every pace is welcome.
And on the mornings when the alarm goes off a little too early? We’ll be there.
On the long runs when doubt creeps in? We’ll remind you why you started.
On race day? We’ll be the loudest ones cheering.
MIT has helped tens of thousands of runners and walkers reach distances they once thought were impossible. Not because it’s easy. But because it’s supported. Because it’s consistent. Because you don’t do it alone.
If you’re willing to show up, we’re ready to coach you.
