Fleet Feet Cincinnati has been helping runners, walkers, and people of all kinds in the Greater Cincinnati area since 2001. The first store opened in Blue Ash, a small but growing community, with a simple goal: to provide the right shoes, gear, and support for local athletes of all levels. In 2012, the DeJulius family took ownership, committed to building meaningful connections within Cincinnati’s running community. What began as a single location has grown to seven stores across the city, each one designed to feel like a neighborhood hub, not just a place to buy shoes.

The story of Fleet Feet began in 1976, when two collegiate athletes, Sally Edwards and Elizabeth Jansen, opened a small running store in Sacramento, California. What started as a one-room shop with one brand of shoes quickly became a movement built on community. Sally and Elizabeth focused on supporting local athletes, fitting high school runners, and hosting grassroots events—creating a place where people could not only find the right shoes, but feel inspired and connected.

That same spirit lives on in Cincinnati. We offer training programs, weekly group runs and walks, workplace fittings, and partnerships with schools and organizations. We also support iconic local events like Flying Pig weekend and other area races. Whether you’re training for a race, staying active, or simply looking for shoes that feel great all day, our mission is the same: to find personalized solutions and create a community where everyone can move, connect, and thrive.

We combine the best of both worlds: the resources and innovations of a nationwide brand—like our 3D foot scanning system, and fleetfeet.com, with the local knowledge and personalized service only Cincinnati stores can provide. This year, Fleet Feet celebrates 50 Years Running, a milestone that reflects the passion, dedication, and community spirit that Sally and Elizabeth started back in 1976. Here in Cincinnati, we’re proud to be part of that legacy and to continue helping our community move together.
