Endurance Training Programs Return

Fleet Feet Sports is pleased to announce the opening of registration for its Fall Marathon and Half Marathon training programs. These eagerly anticipated programs are the largest of the year as people look to get themselves in shape for the Fall "racing season", with most longer distance events taking place between October and December. This year the Half Marathon program has a 9-week version targeting the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco, and a 12-week version targeting the Almond Bowl in Chico.

The Marathon program as usual will be targeting the California International Marathon that takes place on December 2nd and runs from Folsom Dam to the Capitol Building in Sacramento. Said Tina Mickelson, training Program Coordinator at Fleet Feet, "We keep our coach to participant ratio as high as we can to give the best possible experience to our runners. We love seeing the fresh new faces show up in the heat of Summer and work with them through the change of seasons as we get them in shape."
