Running changes everything.

That's the motto we live by. Commit to make a difference in your life and the lives of others by running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon with an official charity partner.

Running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon with a charity partner not only guarantees you a spot in the race, it also helps contribute to the single largest giving day in Illinois.

In 2018, the Bank of America Chicago Marathon announced that more than 11,000 runners raised over $22 million through the 2018 charity program. Since the charity program was officially established in 2002, more than 106,000 runners have raised over $167 million for local, national and global causes. In addition, the sport of running is the second largest group that gives to charities worldwide with over 250 million dollars donated.

We urge you to consider joining one of the below charities if you're running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Application for non-guaranteed lottery entries closes December 3rd. Notifications for entries will go out on December 12th. Each of these charity trains with Chicago Endurance Sports, a training program that prepares you with 18 weeks of group, coached training.
