Fleet Feet Carrboro & Durham are excited to launch our very own dedicated racing community - the Fleet Feet Race Team. Built with a vision to celebrate race day, we aim to elevate the racing experience for our runners. Our Race Team offers members the Fleet Feet hospitality, expertise, and service you know and love at a curated list of the area's top events (see Race Series). - Full Year Prices:
- $120 for first time members, includes:
- $70 annual fee (renewable)
- $50 race kit - racerback and split shorts (one time purchase, retail value $135)
- $70 annual fee (renewable) for current Race Team 2022 members
- Half Year Prices (January - June):
- $100 for first time members, includes:
- $50 semi-annual fee (renewable)
- $50 race kit - racerback and split shorts (one time purchase, retail value $135)
- $50 annual fee (renewable) for current Race Team 2022 members

FAQs:
What are the race perks you provide at each event?
Race perks are subject to change race-to-race and are dependent on factors including but not limited to post-race vendor layout, post-race vehicle accessibility, event sponsorship, and other variables. Examples of race day perks may include VIP parking and/or bathroom access, personal cubbies and storage at our race tent, medical partner services including pre-race prep and post-race recovery, pre- and pos- race food and beverage, PR celebrations, and more. We will announce the race day services and perks to all members in advance of each race so that members are able to plan and participate fully.
Do I have to race in all five events in order to be a member of the Race Team? Do you offer pro-rated membership fees if I only want to race in some of the events?
No - you do not have to participate in all of the races. We offer two membership fee options you can sign up for the full year or half the year the additional membership benefits (in-store annual discount, VIP brand access events) and the race day events themselves offer exceptional value at the current price point, even if you are unable to participate in every race. But you will want to sign up for all year to maximize on the fun!
Do I have to participate in Training Programs in order to be a Fleet Feet Race Team member?
No. Fleet Feet Racing Team is open to any and all participants who love to race and want to celebrate race day with our running community.
If I am a current Training Program member, does my discount apply towards the purchase of the Race Team membership? Does my discount "stack" with my Race Team discount?
If you are a member of our Training Programs, your current discount cannot be applied towards the Race Team membership purchase. Your discount does not stack - you will receive 10% off your purchases and you will still receive your Personal Rewards ($15 for every $150 spent). The Race Team discount applies annually but Training Program discounts only apply during program start-end timelines.
I live outside of the Triangle but I race in many of the events you have listed - can I participate?
Absolutely! If you are unable to make it to our store to purchase your Race Team membership and running kit in person, please reach out directly to Daisy Marbry (daisy.marbry@fleetfeet.com).
Do I have to buy a new racing kit every year?
No. You are only required to buy the race kit the first year of participation. Thereafter, it is up to you if you'd like to purchase a new kit to replace your original one.
Do you offer membership fee refunds?
No. At this time we are unable to offer refunds for member fees.
Can I return/exchange my race kit?
Because these race kits are custom ordered, we are unable to process returns. If you have sizing issues, we can accommodate exchanges.

*Note: For the 2023 calendar year race series, Fleet Feet Race Team membership does not include race entry fees (excluding the Big Run!). This may change for the 2024 season. Fleet Feet Race Team members will be notified of any updates to subscription benefits as they are added throughtout the season and prior to renewal.
